History

Theodore Abi Mansour - Web design, web programming & tutorial development.

It all started back in 1999, after being introduced to the (WWW) by a friend of mine; I had the curiosity in new technology such as creating computer games. The internet was something new to me, which I was able to understand very quickly and excel in it. Time passed by and I created my first personal website using Geocities website builder. Later on, I started working with FrontPage 2000 which gave me more experience into HTML and the real website building environment.

After 2 years of teaching myself the basics of website building and programming, I started taking official Web Design courses at Sessions Inc, New York. I took both programming and design courses which made my design skills get much better. I was able to make my first official website both designed and programmed by me. Moving along my way into the World Wide Web, I was so ambitious that I wanted to build my own web portal.

In the year 2002, I built my first basketball web portal. It was plain HTML; I used to update news and events manually. I also had a “live scoreboard” which was updated manually at that time. It was a real pain, but I enjoyed it. Between pain and having fun, I was introduced to the new Development technology called "PHP". To me, it was so powerful for that was all I needed to get rid of all the manual updates on my site.

I've been working in the field of designing and programming for the web for more than 5 years. I enjoy my work and always try to be ahead of everybody else. My imagination goes far beyond reality. I always have plans that aren’t yet available, which I hope I will be the first to achieve one day.

I'm a person who lives for the sake of my own logic & beliefs. I rarely believe what I hear, but give no negative impressions about it. I live for what I believe is right and wrong. I believe in honesty, loyalty and simplicity. Those are my three main points in life.

You can say I’m the cold-blooded type; I rarely get mad, I believe that good decisions can never be taken when in bad mood. I can maintain my temper in almost all conditions; I simply lose it when I face ignorance.

In general, I try to simplify things in life rather than make them complex. I like simple clear atmosphere, whether at work, at home, or anywhere I go. I believe that I should invest my time thinking of that are worth much more than talking about others behavior or actions. I like to teach and be taught even from the youngest kid around. I'm never ashamed of what I am, or from people I care for. I accept people however and whoever they were as long as they show me respect.

I'm a very straightforward person who prefers to hurt saying the truth, rather than draw a smile caused by a lie. I like challenge, I hate cheaters, I hate liars, and I’m capable of removing years of great memories for the sake of one lie. Last but not least, I never accept causing others what I don't accept others to cause me.
